Well done ILC. I never seem to get half of mine. Changed from the Daybreak one to Top Cash to see if things worked better but haven't had anything from them yet. Took me 2 years to get £25 from Daybreak. Might be the companies I use.

Quiche looks nice ILC I will have to try your recipe too Alfie! Shop bought ones dont taste very nice and are expensive but I do love Cooplands quiches

It was funny reading about the kitchen film still on the cupboard! I left the plastic film on my washer so I didn't damage it before new kitchen but the kids took it off thinking I forgot!

I hope you all had a good weekend. Torrential rain and thunder here most of yesterday.It's drizzling now,hopefully it will dry out later. I have just been out with the dog for his morning walk, off to work soon. Hope this is a lucky week for everyone.

Have you anything planned for the kids holidays wingo? We used to spend the kids October fortnight in Tenerife quite often. Used to fly from Newcastle or Manchester and it was cheap as the English Holidays hadn't started. Wish we were there now - hate the rain!

DD took all the dye out of her hair yesterday. It was lovely to see her normal goldy/blonde hair back. Bet she does something with it again soon though.

Forgot to say. If anyone wants a new toothbrush there will be a good chance of getting one on the Wisdom FB Comp. You have to submit a photo but there are 1,000 toothbrushes being given away. There is a voting part but you can ignore that if you like as you just need that to get into the final. Don't think they have anything like 1,000 entries at the moment.

I am a bit fed up of all this miserable weather it gets so gloomy in the house and need to the lights on all the time. Off out to town for lunch as there is an off on at Yates Wine bar on a Monday.

Sheils - Fred always used to take his kid to Scotland in half term as it was always cheaper there.

Alfie - I love a spinach quiche and quite like a spinach and potato curry as well.
