Hi everyone,

Hope you have all had a good day. After a wet and then cloudy start here the sun came out and it was 20 degrees. Of course DH and I weren't dressed for 20 degrees! We had a wonderful day though and tired out now DH is sleeping on the couch so I have come on line. We spent a lot of time at Laugharne which was lovely if there are any Dylan Thomas fans.


As for wining and dining wingo, we had fish and chips on the front in Saundersfoot (near Tenby) and a bottle of Soave at the picnic table at our lodge at Bluestone. We know how to live!

Had a WEM for 1,000 points for Best Western from the FB running comp so better than nothing although haven't used the company properly yet. Have stayed on a Tesco deal but that is all.

Glad you like the pics Sylvia & FF. We were last in this exact area 11 years so it is lovely to remind ourselves what it was like here with the kids when they were fairly small. Laughed about having a drink at the picnic table when we arrived yesterday so couldn't believe it when it was hot enough today. Comping fairy making sure this win was worth the journey!

Thanks FF and well done to you too.

I have a woolly jersey ready for the end of the week ILC! Have plans for the next two days but just need it to be dry really.
Today was our day for visiting beaches. There were lots of peeps in the sea at Tenby!

Pics are lovely Sheils, it looks really nice there. I like the Balamory style houses too! You see a lot of them lately in places, I think the colours really brighten up places. Fish n chips at a picnic table sounds perfect! Better than some fancy restaurant anyday!

Sylvia, now you mention it I've heard of broiled chicken! Like Alfie I was imagining some annoying person dressed up in a big chicken costume!

ILC, I too think its disgusting that baby P's mum (not that I would call her that ) is getting out of jail soon. There's no justice in this world.

I watched DIY SOS earlier, that was emotional to watch. Hubby fallen asleep as usual on sofa! Why do men need so much sleep!

strange weather here at the moment! started off all drizzly &
then the sun came out lovely but now has gone all dark & gloomy :eek:
birds have gone mad for the food this morning so am assuming there's stormy seas ahead :eek:

Pretty pics FF and our weather much the same, very dark one minute then the sun comes out.

Lovely pics sheils and so lucky with the good weather.

Just had another instant win on the toysrus one, Spongebob figurines, Christmas box filling nicely :rotfl:

Back a bit sore today so not much planned.
