iluvcats, you are probably too young to remember. Our parents kept chickens and they always boiled the old ones. Just Fred's sense of humour when they ring asking us if we are entitled to change our old boiler, he always calls him 'the chicken man'

Snap - you beat me to it - can recall broiling years back ! :p

    Hated the smell :p:p:p

I have asked Fred as he used to be a butcher and he said he always knew them as boilers but some peeps do call them broilers. :rotfl:

AB/Sylvia I've seen chickens in Butchers saying Broilers. (I prefer grilled, fried or roasted)

I am a bit OCD about chicken after that disgusting episode.

That P woman may be released early?

Aaaah - I have to find the instructions re tunes etc .... filed away somewhere safe and can't see them at the mo - useless filing system :p:eek: :o :rotfl::rotfl: If I recall, there are little button/slide things in the actual push bell bit and there are also the same in the wireless contraption and you have to set them the same for whichever tune you want. Had done that previously and ended up with carp :D

Think i will get me son on the case when he's here at the weekend :o:D
