Had a strange email that wasn't in my spam box from Hoteligents Cumbria saying about a reservation and booking confirmation which I need to print off! It's as though I've booked something but I haven't! I think they've either got the wrong email addy, I've won a Cumbrian break or theres something hubby isn't telling me! Hoping it's the second one but hey ho!

Morning all,

Just popped in while DH is still sleeping.
Arrived at Bluestone last night after a long day. It took 7 and a half hours of actual driving which is a lot more than we usually do in a day. We only had a picnic stop at Chester Services (avoid at all cost as it smells from oil refinery!) and a fuel stop at Wrexham before going to visit DHs bro & SIL. It was nice to see them as we only see them every few years and we hadn't seen their new house. Arrived at Bluestone nearly in the dark so haven't really seen it yet. Lodge is enormous for two of us and lovely and as you can see has WIFI
Been raining through the night but supposed to be nice later so will be heading for Tenby which is only a few miles away.
Yes the scenery was lovely ILC.

Hope everyone is well. Dry and sunny here so I hope I can get some washing dry for a change, my basket is overflowing!

Has anyone ever had a bad experience on Gumtree or Preloved? Met a singularly unpleasant person this week which was quite awful. We must be careful I suppose - just makes you lose faith in people any more!

Gumtree has a bad reputation for con-artists.

Never heard of pre-loved.

I tend to do car-boot sales if having a clear-out.

I sold a couple of things via Gumtree (for sale / wanted) and touch-wood it went well. Met the people in a public place and did the deed successfully.
