iluvcats. Are you giving up the lotto now it is going to two squid?
    SYL

Will do the first two Saturday £2 special big draws and then reconsider.

Have entered a radio LOTTO draw (used Wed lotto ticket) - (£20k £25k £250k) saw it as a Bauer pop-up.

There are loads of extra bits to win here n there, can't keep up. Already chucked Saturday's ticket. Only spotted ^ by chance. (there's a winner in IWIWIW)

    Hmm

I wanted a couple of venus fly traps yesterday and they were £4.50 each in BQ. I went to another shop and they were there as well, but looking a bit neglected so haggled on price. the manager said I could have then cheap if I had them ALL. So, I came away with 20 fly traps for £9.50. Good grief! I have a little colony of them now so woe betide any flies in my house LOL. Thought I'd share it with you as it's so MSE but so funny as well, I think. My hubby thought I was completely mad. Thinking I might get two long windowsill planters and repot them into two colonies. What do people think? :)

I think that's fabulous! First well done on the haggling and secondly I love the long planters idea.

My OH thinks I am a complete tightwad but I LOVE it when my local greengrocer slaps 20p labels on sorry looking plants. I enjoy the challenge of making them healthy...and where there is life there is hope!

Alfie has an admission ..... :o In my long distant past I lifted/salvaged/saved/nearly stole  some sad looking butterfly bushes (Buddleia) that had been dumped in a skip and were looking pretty sad. Asked in the end for permission to take them cos I am such a wimp :p:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::p Builders thought I was as mad as a March hare :rotfl::rotfl:

Plants survived with a bit of TLC and have been flowering in me garden ever since. Beaut deep purple blooms, easy to keep in control with pruning else they can get out of hand - little flying critters love them. :)

Ps - Saw me first ladybird yesterday (this year!) in the garden. Hopefully more ....... have fairly missed them this year!

ILC: I managed to scrape the NL barrel fund to have a punt on euro and tb Friday. Hoping one of them will come up trumps :D

Is it just the lotto that has gone up then? I see there is special draw Saturday? Is that just the lotto then? :p My brain is frazzled with it all! :p

Well done Alfie, love them, have a purple one myself. I saw a ladybird when I was pruning some bushes last week, forgot to mention it.
