Fire**fly, I'm ashamed to say I also got sent out of assembly at school for swinging my legs then I fell back and let out a loud one by accident! :o Got detention for it...."I must not disrupt assembly!"

I remember the multi coloured swap shop, tizwaz, bagpuss, the clangers etc but don't remember the twizzles Alfie! I was born in 1970 so might have seen some on repeat shows :)

Wingo - when you said you had got miniatures today I thought you meant boozy ones ;) what were they?

Talking about flatulence many years ago I was in Edinburgh Woolen Mills with Sister and GS (in pushchair), Sister lets one rip and then blames the GS :o

Sheils - thought you had not had that boiler long?

Can't get in the swing of the comps today, think I am just tired, could do with a nice win to spur me on.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

Have had the boiler 8 years I think Sylvia - hate it! Been nothing but bother really. Got it as it was "A" rated but wasn't rated a success and they stopped making it. The engineers hate that kind too.
Not really got much enthusiasm for comps at the moment either as there seems to be so many other things I have to do.

Got a new Hoover on our way back from Blackpool with last of vouchers from Red Letter Gift Card and quite pleased with it for the money. (£80) Shows how bad the old one was though as I had to empty it twice while hovering the whole house! :o
Just got a fright - thought someone had taken a photo of me but it was lightening as I just heard thunder too.

Oh must be thinking of someone else having a new boiler :(
Don't mention thunder and lightening, I will go to jelly. OH has to accompany me to the toilet when it starts. They say it doesn't strike twice but I don't want to take the risk. :(

DS3 seems to think the lightning has struck what was the "David Coulthard Museum" at Twynholm a few miles away. Can't find anything about it on the news sites though. Haven't seen any more. DS3 was walking home and also thought someone had taken his photo.

I have grown up having a fear of thunder & lightening too. Mum used to hide us all in the pantry or under kitchen table when it happened. I used to have nightmares about it! Not too bad now though. Mum fostered a young boy years ago too who also had a fear of the wind and he would be hysterical and scream poor kid.
Well done getting a new Hoover Sheils :)

    Morning all :)

Ooooh weather looks a bit iffy for next few days?

Just steppped out the back door to have a look (though still pitch black out there :o) - sort of muggy - quite a bit of wind (that word again :D) blowing. Hope it doesn't get to bad  It wasn't me honest! :D

Talking of hoovers ..... I must get mine out today ...... I seem to have trodden dust etc from kitchen round rest of house!

Didn't do it yesterday as puddy was fast asleep and I hated to disturb her :p That's as good an excuse as any! :rotfl::rotfl:

Aaaaw wingo - you is just a young peep - that's why you won't recall them Twizzles :D

Had trouble postg also last few days in IWIWIW kept getting strange error message and had to keep pressing back button and then refreshing - took me ages. Not tried it yet today - will go there in a min. :p

Hope everyone stays safe today, love n luck to all. xxxxx
