Never seen that poem before ILC. Though for a moment it was one of Rabbie Burn's. It is written in his style - very good find.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Hmm
I wanted a couple of venus fly traps yesterday and they were £4.50 each in BQ. I went to another shop and they were there as well, but looking a bit neglected so haggled on price. the manager said I could have then cheap if I had them ALL. So, I came away with 20 fly traps for £9.50. Good grief! I have a little colony of them now so woe betide any flies in my house LOL. Thought I'd share it with you as it's so MSE but so funny as well, I think. My hubby thought I was completely mad. Thinking I might get two long windowsill planters and repot them into two colonies. What do people think?MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOUR0 -

that is so good Softpad, the sort of think my DD2 would do, she will take any what she calls 'poorly's' home and nurse them back to healthy plants. Long planters on the windowsill sounds lovely.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
What a lovely lot of pics this morning peeps, thanks.
It has rained through the night and very dull this morning. Must buck my ideas up today and catch up. Also need to hoover the lounge as I got Lottie a new toy AGAIN and she has shredded it everywhere. Still it keeps her happy.
Sheils/Ellem - it sounds like you are having it really bad in Scotland, hope its not heading our way
Wingo - I used to hide under the table as well when it thundered.
Indie - hope you have an OK shift at work. Lottie doesn't like the rain either and hides under the coffee table to try and get out of going for a walk. She is such a wuss.
firefly - well done on your two surprise wins today you are having a good start to October.
Alfie - We only had a wireless when we were young. Do you remember listen with Mother and Children's hour? Now I am showing my age.
iluvcats - lovely pics today loved the one with the ice-cream and cherries. Are you giving up the lotto now it is going to two squid?
Good luck folks and have a lovely day.
