Rather warm here re weather - plant watering on the go - so many bees and butterflies (lovely to see). Sad not to see any ladybirds No wasps or hornets either?? What's going on?

Had a challenge this morning!!!! :eek:

Puddy thru last night was really off on one .... going beserk (more than usual!!) - actually had a word with her at 2.00 am ..... told her mum was really trying to get some sleep :rotfl::rotfl:

However, this morn, I found the reason why :eek: Puddy had found a pal to chase!!! :eek:

T'other night I closed the bedroom window due to rain etc ..... but I hadn't realised a visitor had previously crept in window, without my knowledge!!!! :eek:

Woke up this morn, gently coming round....... and saw the biggest garden tarantula of all times on me bedroom ceiling :eek::eek::eek:

Never shot out of bed so quick since I was a young thing!!!

My god, if it had fallen off of ceiling on me it would have knocked alfie out, or I maybe would have passed out anyhow!!!

Haven't seen one of them big critters for years!!! Huge leg span!!!

Had to get rather large lager glass, rather big bit of cardboard, step ladders and banish puddy downstairs while operation/save huge spider/re-home it was carried out!!

Managed it, got the huge critter out and rehomed it over next doors garden fence - right down the end :D :D

Would never kill them, they have as much right to life as I have - it's in a nice area now, trees, shrubs etc - But I am pleased big leggy critter is outside rather than in me bedroom !!!! :eek::eek:

ILC: have you done NL this week? I have Spiders are meant to be lucky yes? Reckon my visitor used to be a money spider few years back but just grew and grew!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Got me paws crossed! Puddy not so happy cos I put a stop to her fun ! Ho hum - can't please yon furries all of the time!! Anyhow, she is sleeping it off now, sending up zzzzzzz's ....... til the next time she is on the case ......... :eek::D xx

I've had 50 emails today but all spam marketing from comps etc. No post.


Ordered a NowTv box yesterday but no word yet, luckily coming by Royal Mailed Tracked one day, so more reliable than Yodel and parcels normally come before lunchtime.

hope all is well,I am fine today,did the gym this morning and made lunch,overcooked it so it was all bone dry :eek: as I did it in the microwave and not the oven.

now having a lovely Morrisons Pizza and at least thats not overcooked and its delicious,Got some tv to watch tonight,well done on all the wins today.

Tonight I have cauli cheese with saute pots and broc/runner beans
plus strawberries n yog for afters
