Hi, it has been a beautiful day here, we have been shopping, took dogs for a nice walk and done more gardening. Another GD is here for the night, have cooked her tea and am taking her to McD for a McFlurry.

iluvcats - forgot to say earlier, remember the last time the "letter box daily" was on and my recipe book didn't arrive and you said yours came but it was like a leaflet and you put it in the bin? I won some maple syrup a few weeks ago on the same one. It came today, it was a tiny plastic pot like you get a tiny pot of jam you get when you have toast in a cafe! I am not complaining, just thought it was funny, Every little helps etc.

Ok - lets start again

Alfie is knackered - been working hard on kitchen all day but fairly pleased with progress. :j:j:j

Shame, as day turned out lovely weather wise and was itching to get out in garden but restrained meself - kitchen has to come first at the mo (at least for the next few days) and garden will be ok for a wee while.

Cat hid behind sofa earlier as window cleaners came today ... lovely guys but cat really dislikes them :eek: Reckon she thinks they are trying to break in with their bubbly water and window wipers :rotfl::rotfl:

She's surfaced now and stalking the joint upstairs and down to make sure they have gone. Bless her, my little guard cat :A:A xxx
