iluvcats - DD just got a screen protector for her new BB and the assistant told her to use a credit card to smooth it down, if that's any help. I usually go to one of these little stalls and get them to put it on when I buy it.

iluvcats/alfie did you see Country File when they were taking about other countries having a curfew on cats after dark so they don't get the birds and their eggs and suggesting it would be good to have one in England. How on earth are you supposed to keep a cat in at night?

firefly - yest it very sad about the swans. Big hugs.

    bfb60f5e.gif Sylvia.....

They normally stick in a little card.

TG they are removable as they are always hard to line up properly first time!

I normally try on a tea-towel away from the cat!

    Didn't see Country file.......

Is Sukie and Lottie ok around cats? AB and me can come for an extended stay! :rotfl:

Sheils: I got an ipad screen protector from poundland and cheapo ipod ones (as you say) from Amazon.
Cheapo ones can be a little grainy but not visible when screen is lit.

First chance I've had all day to pop in! Gymnastics, ironing, washing ..the usual! :D We did go to the beach though today seeing as it was a nice day. :)
I upgraded my phone yesterday to a Samsung galaxy S 3 mini and I love the phone but the battery doesn't last long. I charged it fully last night and earlier today it was telling me to plug into a charger! :o I'm not happy about this. I took it back into EE and the man said it could be that it was on the highest settings so he took the navigation thingy off and lowered the brightness. Not sure if it's made a difference! It's back on charge now!

Hope you've all had a lovely day and ((hugs)) to anyone in need :) x
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

    Glad you enjoyed the beach.

I was thinking of that one ^ but wanted a 4G phone (incase go 4G one day)

Check what apps are running in the back-ground and turning off data/GPS/Bluetooth/Backlight etc. when not needed.

There are setting to preserve the battery. (settings/power management)

I can Swipe down from the top to see what's active and can make them inactive by pressing each one as needed/not needed. (GPS etc.)

    Good Morning,

Great pics ILC. Have never heard of that film but then I don't watch very many. The only chilling Scottish film I can remember was "The Wickerman" which was partly filmed here. (first one not the remake)
Remember seeing all the actors when we out for school lunches.
Will check all my phone setting too as it seems to need charging more than I am used to.

It is all misty here so hope it will clear soon as we were going to go to Sainsburys today to use my last vouchers and gift card which still has £46 on it.
    Wishing everyone a lucky week.

Sheils: Wicker Man is brill. (Was lent VHS tape) Very Chilling as U say, incredible they deny missing girl's whereabouts.
Edward Woodward was brill in it.
I've got the Director's cut dvd for a rainy day.

    Android is a bit weird.
Some days, phone will whacks battery & others hardly at all.
I've turned off NFC, Data, GPS (don't have backlight, Bluetooth on)

I keep wifi on in case an update comes in.

I met Edward Woodward coming out of a local hotel. He was really nice and gave me his autograph. Just checked and I was right it was 40 years ago!

    That's nice.

I liked him as the Equalizer and Nev Smith (Bin man in Common as Muck)
