  • firefly - I use the Atora shredded suet (vegetable option) as well and nearly always use herbs too. It makes lovely dumplings. You can get Atora light as well but not sure if you can get it in vegi.

iluvcats - wishing you lots of fairy dust.

Handy when you have a film in mind. (or where Netflix has been mentioned)
    The first is dedicated.

Obviously some of the films may have left the service if they refresh their list.

Hi everyone, I have been on MSE for a while now but never really chatted to anyone...not on this this tread anyway. So I thought I'd say hello and introduce myself properly, my name is Lauren and I look forward to getting to know you all :)

Tornadomanuk, congratulations. I hope little bub makes an appearance soon. I had my first in March. The first few weeks were hard, I had an emergency c-section so things were a little difficult at times. But once we got in to the whole baby routine, it became so much easier. Its great now. She learns something new every day and its amazing!! You will love every second of it :) p.s. you'll end up with no money because you will want to buy everything baby related haha. I am terrible for it!!

I have developed a cold so I'm feeling a little under the weather today and feeling sorry for myself haha. I hope it clears up soon!!

Wingobins, I have started my xmas shopping already too. I am on maternity leave and my pay stops around that time :( so I need to try and get it all done asap. So far, I've only brought two things though.... and I have around 20 people to buy for!! I am also being strict with my budget this year, I always spend a fortune. Last year it must have been close to 1k! This year, I have 300 pounds - works out around 15 pounds per person. The cheaper the better though. Is anyone else being strict on budgets?

    Morning all :)
Dreich and drizzly here today but at least the wind has gone.

Welcome to the Inn Lauren. We decided last year to limit spending on Christmas presents, for the adults anyway, the GKs still get spoiled a bit though ;). I have some small things for the wee ones from wins and bargains bought during the summer.

For my 3 grown up children and their partners and OH and I, my daughter organises a Secret Santa list so now each couple just buys 2 presents instead of 6 which everyone was happy with.

Hoping for a lucky day for everyone :D
