Hi, just back from JS and dont have to go back anymore so thats good news for me.
Wingo - well done getting started with the Xmas shopping, you will probably win lots now. Did you win at Bingo?
Lauren - welcome to the Inn and to comping and good luck. Always a good idea to get started early with the Xmas shopping. We have a budget for our as well as we are not on a pension. We also have 8 GK's. We usually try and do a bit more for them for their birthdays thank Xmas.
Ellemm - thats a good idea of a Secret Santa for the adults.
Alfie - I hear you have hail stones. We have had a lovely sunny but windy and cold day.
firefly - I asked DH about the TV choice and he agrees with you.
Fish pie for tea, just frozen ones with veg as I didn't think I would be around this early.
SYL
Hi sylv - pleased you are finished with JS :A
Hail storm gone and would you believe the sun was shining after!!! Don't know what's going on with this weather!!!!
Having cheese broc bake tonight with saute pots n peas n sweetcorn ...... thought I would push the boat out a wee bit!!!!
My family and me now always stick to reasonable budget re xmas - still have loadsa fun and have a wonderful time opening pressies/xmas silly stockings xmas morn(all under certain price and many lovingly home made) - hate to think of financial worries for many leading up to xmas and when xmas is done and dusted and the bills come in
It's not necessary but sadly many feel the pressure
Kids always do fine and thoroughly enjoy
Have to say - best present I got last year was a wee car from my lovely kids -they clubbed together and when they gave me the keys I was in tears, they gave it with love and to give me back my independence after a fairly tough few years. :T:T :A:A Def one off - back to basics this year!!!!!
Now I really have to catch up with some comps and try n win sum wee bits for xmas!!! :rotfl::rotfl: xxxxxxxMILITARY WIVES CHOIRSHELP for HEROES0 -
