Just popped in to say we got to our hotel safely. Managed a visit to Richmond Castle on the way. Hadn't been to visit the castle for about 8 years so quite enjoyed it and it wasn't too wet while we were there, It was windy at the top of it though and I don't like heights at the best of times! Just having a little drink before we head out for our meal - dry at the moment.

ILC I told DH you were worried about him at the Spa and he said to tell you it is OK he is in touch with his feminine side! :rotfl:

Managed to avoid the A1 by going to Richmond and heading south from there Sylvia. DH doesn't like the A1 either.

My late doggies could 'playfully' destroy toys/squeaky toys very quickly . The squeak would go first, then the rest of the toy would be chewed apart!!! I always felt guilty hiding the ruined toys, then sneakily getting rid of them (for dog safety):o We always bought replacements but then went through the same cycle again!!! Even tough footballs were squished!!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

don't blame DH not wanting to miss out on the prizes sheils :j mine sometimes moans at me doing lots but is the same when prizes turn up or getting a wem specially when it's food/wine or similar :eek::D

Hi firefly/Alfie - have you been watching the Britain Wild Life prog on BBC1. It suggested coating the bird peanuts with Chilli powder as the birds don't mind but the squids don't like it?

Glad you got there safely Sheils xx Weather is a bit hit and miss at the minute here! It was blowing a gale earlier and someone left a load of cardboard out which landed on our drive then got soaked! Enjoy your trip

I like Keith Lemon too but missed last nights show

Sylvia, jasper always takes squeak out of toy immediately so stopped buying them!
