I am fine,hope all is well,teeth still sensitive so I got some sensodyne toothpaste and its helping it feel less painful.

been out today on the bus and went to Torquay to Currys PC World,as my samsung tablet wouldnt switch on but all is fine now and it works.

Good on yer Ellemm treating yourself to a new coat I'm imagining we'll have a bad winter so you should etvyour wear out of it!

Hope the jury service isn't too daunting for you Sylvia. DH said its exhausting at times and he could have easily fell asleep too!

The car has man flu and needs a new battery....so far! It's making a coughing noise so might be something else too!

Quite nice here this morning but rain is to come in later. Car is off for a service soon if the salesman down the road remembers to pick it up. Looks like DD will get wet walking home. Hate not having the car available but handy having it picked up and brought back.
Hope everyone has a lucky day. There seemed to be a lot of winners about yesterday so fingers crossed for us today.

Morning all Sun has come out to play today so just waiting for my washing to finish before going to work. I'm in hydro pool today with kiddies so that should be fun. Not looking forward to parading my unsightly body in a bather though!

It was dark here this morning too fire**fly! I thought I set alarm wrong!

Hope the back is better soon ellemm xx I've heard that Voltarol (?) is good.

Good luck with the car Sheils, hope it gets through its service ok. Ours was done not long ago by Peugeot garage too so not sure why it's faulty now!

Cars service is a free one wingo so anything wrong it is still covered.
They pay for the oil etc too but not things like wipers and tyres. We have done 18,000 miles in less than 18 months! :eek: Expect new tyres will be next. Will still have another free service at 27,000 miles and then we will need to pay.:( Hope you get your car sorted out soon. (Think our battery keeps pretty well charged )

Thursday again so you will be keeping busy FF.

Having to pop in briefly now and again to catch up (numerous coffee breaks! :eek:) ............

Think I was a tad optimistic thinking I would finish kitchen this weekend!

Took me all day yesterday to tackle one wall where carp units and work surface had been taken out

Took out all old rawplugs (blooming loads of them!) using the well known and trusted way of screwing in a screw and 'gently pulling' plugs out with pliers............ :rotfl::rotfl:

Didn't quite work for me .... made some errors (rather larger holes than anticipated! :rotfl:

Suffice to say plenty of filling was going on and the sh**e rawplugs that wouldn't budge ....... I hammered them in bit more and filled over them

Plenty of rubbing down yest pm and hoovering up mess - now gotta wipe down wall and get painting.

If there is any lumps n bumps I will be carefully covering them up with errm stuff!:D

Kitchen at mo looks like a tornado has been through but hopefully once said wall is painted (two or three coats I reckon) I can start putting quite a lot of stuff back and start working on rest!

Made a slight error - in amongst the kitchen stuff dumped (carefully laid out:D) in t'other room pro tem was a very nice cork notice board ........... puddy decided it was a wonderful claw sharpener!!!! :eek::eek:

ILC ....... yep - reckon I could get a few hits on u tube thing re renovating !! :rotfl::rotfl:

firefly - sorry the weather is not too good for you today and hope it clears up soon.

Sheils - hope the car is OK. You must be doing a lot more miles than you usually do with all your trips.
