What size storage heater to buy?

I've just purchased a new flat that has storage heaters. The one in the lounge is very old and ugly so have decided to replace it for a new more efficient one, but I don't know what size to get. The room is 5m x 3m. I've tried searching on the Internet for advice and guidance but have ended up getting more confused than before I started and I didn't realise they were so expensive. Also, which is the best sort to get? I'd be very grateful for any advice you can give me. Thank you

Just to make you aware, all storage heaters are the same efficiency, the only difference is the quality.
1KW of electricity in gives 1kw of heat out, regardless of what any of the manufacturers say.
Take a look at the label on the existing to give you a ball park on what size to get, then just get whichever one you like.0 -
Modern ones are generally more controllable But exactly the same efficiency.
Indeed, all electric heaters, storage or otherwise, are the sme efficiency-100%.
You need one of the same (or greater) rating than the existing one.No free lunch, and no free laptop
