Royal Mail Surveys rewarded with Stamps.

Had to go to the depot today to collect a letter with underpaid postage. Turns out to be a survey letter without any postage at all. Not happy at all.
Email (for evidence that you have done so) to tell them that you have had to pay whatever sum it was to collect the letter. They will pay - probably in postage stamps (and you could have paid RM in postage stamps).
Annoying though that you will have had the extra trouble (and cost?) in collecting the item.0 -
I used to do rms for a few years but had to stop when I became ill but contacted them a month ago and now Im back on the panel for 6 month period look forward to speaking to you all as I understand things have changed a bit0

As this is about the Unaddressed Survey, did you put D2D at the start of the subject line? That helps them field it. Yes I did it was instructed in the contact section...
That week should be available for you to complete for up to 3 weeks from 19 August. Thanks

My Q As I mentioned in my previous email I haven't received any mail to register, but according to the one picture that is on the form I have received a pamphlet through the door which I need to enter.
Your A. What do you mean you when on the one hand you say you haven't received any mail to register and on the other hand you say you need to log something which is pictured?
My response to Your A.
Yes sorry about the confusing way of explaining my scenario... What I meant to say was I did not know I was to look out for leaflets as well. I thought there was only Sealed letters or parcel type post I was to look out for. That's why I mentioned I will not throw any Junk mail from now.
You enter the information about receipt at any time (within the couple of weeks that it is available - but if you leave it beyond a week the front page box will turn red. However it is best to enter on a daily basis. If you count something in the daily numbers and subsequently find it in the pictured list, remember to remove it from the daily total.
If you confirm that a pictured item has been received, it disappears from view. Drop-down items remain for you to enter/change as appropriate.
Thanks for both answers I will keep an eye on it but is comforting to know it will be available for at least couple of weeks..

Have you been sent an envelope to send them all unaddressed mail received during your participation in the Unaddressed survey? Some people have been receiving these, so I'd keep the flyers for now.
No I have not received any envelops or packages yet yes I will keeps the so what we used to call the junk mail from now on....
***** Another Q******
The unaddressed mail survey doesn't have a training period.
Thanks for this response, on the main page there is training link is that what we have to complete or is there another form of training RM is going make me do.

Training is given for the main survey but not for any of the other surveys that are available from time to time.
I assume you are not doing the main survey (sending & receiving letters each week). I have not heard of anyone being selected for the other surveys who has not previously done the main survey at some time.
Lucky you really, as the ones for say 3 weeks are usually really easy and actually pay in L2S vouchers which I think is better than the stamps.0 -
I have been trying to sign up to do this for years. I think I have just successfully signed up!:rotfl:0

did about 6 months last year but now this is the 2nd time in 2 months that I have done the training and been told I am being put on a short break- very irritating as they must know how many people they have signed up for a certain area.0

It is highly annoying. What they really need is a data base where you put your postcode in and it tells you if there is a gap. No gap no sign up or sign up a list of reserves for if someone drops out.0
