oh no MF thats awful & just the type of thing that I was trying to explain to them when they called me, I would be interested to know if they have removed the person who sent it to you as well, have you asked?

I totally get what you are saying and know exactly why the person that sent the compromised item should be removed from the panel...but it's not their details and address that have been disclosed as a recipient of test mail.

SO infuriating I know that a few can really mess it up for some quite long standing and loyal posters but in TNS's eyes its not the sender that is at fault it's the receiver for potentially being identified.

A lesson learnt and hopefully a warning to others that what goes around comes around...maybe karma will strike the sender at some point!

I realise that their details have not been compromised but if they can't be bothered to do it right or don't learn to do it right why should they be allowed to continue as the data could have been compromised and the speed influenced due to it being a known test item due to their actions.

yes i definitely hope karma gets them

Best not to report anyone to TNS as they will probably always remove the reporter. I have always stayed silent when someone has clearly made a mistake when posting an item to me. I have now been on the survey for over 4 years. My latest 6-month stint will soon be ending.

I am afraid this is another example of TNS incompetence. If you search this forum, you wil see many other examples of people being removed from the survey after reporting incompetence.

    TNS are useless lol !!

TBH TNS have little choice. I would expect it is part of their contract with RM.
Given RM have dismissed their own staff for contravening mail processes to favour of known panelists, why would they not want them removed?

Please give examples of when they have removed their own staff in favour of known panellists ?

Are you calling me a liar?
Glasgow, circa 5 years ago. Multiple managers sacked after it came to light they were prioritising delivery to known panelists.
These managers were 'training' other managers on the practice.

Yes I did ask if the person had been removed too but they couldn't divulge that info due to data protection.

I'm indulging in some slight revenge by sending all my SMARTS back individually

If I were you, I would not even bother sending any of the smarts back to TNS. They can't and won't do anything. After all, you will not get invited back on the survey until you move to another address.
