  • I was supposed to post today between 10 and 1 however my son was ill so I had to go up and pick him up from school and ate him to the docs. It wasn't til 4pm that I realised I'd missed the posting time. Am I right in thinking I can post this time next week? If so do I need to do anything or just hang on to it and update the online posting schedule next wed when I've posted it?

    Thanks :-)

It was what day did it say on the box for next collection. It is normally a little silver bit of metal near the slot. It only has three letters on it MON etc.

Some (eg one I use in a WHS-based PO) don't display the day but just list the latest posting times.

Also sometimes the day is not correct or the label is missing!

There's the option "None of these" which covers the absence - and you can report the incorrect day if that is shown on your box.
  • Thanks Libra.

Ummm, it seems to be working. Might just have been an issue with turn computer off, then turn computer back on after tinkering with the settings, heehee.

Whatever it was, it's fixed itself.

Chrome is what I use anyway. Just seemed such an odd thing to happen even on Chrome.

    But thanks again!
I'm not a complete idiot!........... Pieces of me are missing :rotfl:

Being silly and I can't access training on my ipad, what do I do with a small box as just got a piece of foam and a bit of cardboard?

In my sleep deprived newborn state never had one of these before?

    Received or to post?

If you have received it, follow usual procedure for online recording - R number, postmarks etc. At the end select that it is a small box.

If to post, put foam and cardboard in made-up box. Add Smart if required. Seal box carefully and address as appropriate. You would need to hand it over at a PO counter as it is too big for a normal post box.

Don't worry about timings. I never do it gets posted when I am passing the box. That can be anytime from 6AM until 3PM. I don't really follow where it is to be posted from as the PO is too far away to keep driving mail. The incentive would be spent on petrol. :)
