Not sure where to put this so ill put it here as a bit of fun. I ordered a birchbox on the 9th. On the 14th I got a non-delivery card from yodel with a number to contact the courier on. Needless to say she didn't respond and didn't attempt delivery on the 15th (my husbands company works with yodel and said they have to deliver on three consecutive days). It's now at the depot with no redelivery date and all I have is a card with a number scrawled on.
While wondering whether miss yodel has gone AWOL with my box, I received an email from birchbox exclaiming my box is enroute. Feeling a bit bemused, I followed the tracking link which said it was given to citipost to deliver originally, not yodel. The dates and times all match the yodel attempt and according to the citipost link I should've received a card from them. Same as yodel, according to them it's sat at the depot with no redelivery date. We have no parcels due and the times and dates match so it must be the same.
I've contacted birchbox but I think it'll be a little fun to guess who has my parcel and ill update (if I ever find out....) so who has my parcel? Yodel or citipost? Have they run hand in hand into the sunset with my box?!

Yes... Yodel have a habit of leaving stuff in my re-cycling wheelie bin (and I was away on holiday on one of those occasions!). Never hear of citipost though...0 -
Lol I hope you get it today if you getting no answer from number on card have you tried ringing yodel direct?
They have took my parcel out 2 days in a row but not left depo till after lunch each time so why do they bother...not sure if I want it to come or not as its text books for my October course and I've 2 assignments due before that lolHave a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0 -
Bins are clear I'm afraid. I have a yodel 'card' which her number scribbled on it, I'm tempted to go to the depot and ask if this is yodel or citipost and where the bloody hell is my box. I've taken pictures of both trackers and the times etc match exactly.
If this is the hassle I get each month, I'm going to go for glossybox instead. They post via royal mail apparently.0 -
I had a sat nav ordered from Amazon. Got a card through the door while I was out saying Yodel had left it in my recycling bin but it wasn't there when I got home. Don't know if they left it there and someone saw them and helped themselves or if they just said they had left it there. Luckily, Amazon replaced it but I requested the replacement to be sent RM as they always take them back to the collections office which is just down the road from me.0

I don't know how long it'll take for companies to realise using Yodel is false economy. A lot of people I know refuse to use companies that use Yodel, so surely if a lot of people did this they would lose more money from missed sales than from going with a cheap courier? I would quite happily pay extra for postage to avoid these cowboys.0

I wouldn't be surprised if Yodel are rebranding as Citipost........
they are horrendous and had to rebrand a couple of years back as their reputation is so bad!! I send a lot of parcels and try to avoid them at all costs. unfortunately they are the only courier that offer a highlands and islands service0 -
