Please Help - beginning to panic now !!!

I have a blue disabled badge and parked in Sainsburys car-park on 3rd June, in a disabled bay. Having done a small amount of shopping and leaving the store within the hour, I found I had a parking ticket, issued by Smart Parking Ltd, for £60, but if paid within 14 days would be reduced to £30.
I ignored it (as suggested on this forum), shortly receiving another letter from them saying I had to pay £60 and if I failed to pay it within 14 days I would have to pay a further £10 admin fee.
Today I have received a letter from a company called Debt Recovery Plus Ltd saying I have to pay £110.!
Now I have been informed that I shouldn't have ignored these letters and demands for money and to be honest I have no idea what I should be doing now.
Please can someone give me some firm information on what I should do.
Ignore or not. Very Many Thanks

Where were you advised to ignore on or after 3rd June? Have you had a separate thread somewhere here under a different forum name, as this is your first post under your current name?
Then we can check what information we gave you then.
Also where were you subsequently advised you shouldn't have ignored it? I'm a bit confused. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Its not a major crisis to have ignored it, although that is no longer the advice on here. i am sure someone very experienced will be along to help you soon. What was the reason for the PCN (fake invoice) being issued, by the way? Did you not display your badge or did you overstay the time allowed? (And yes, I know that badges do NOT have to be displayed in order to park in disabled parking bays on private land, but these scamsters would have used that as an excuse to levy one of their fake "tickets" )
You have missed the POPLA appeal route now, so all you can do is continue to ignore. Debt Recovery Plus are a bunch of twits and tou can ignore them, but do NOT ignore a Letter Before Action if it is sent or Court Papers( unlikely you will get either, but do not ignore either of those- come and post here or on Pepipoo for assistance if either of those arrive)0 -
Smart Parking / TCP lease the land in many of these stores such as Asda and Sainsburys etc they lave no legal rights whatsoever and neither do debt recovery plus......Please look on CAG (Consumer action group) and search the thread TCP / Roxburghe send cheque and apologise......You will see my letters to TCP much of it relevant to your case.....Blue badge bays on private land cannot be enforced against you in court :beer:0

If you don't want to pay then you can continue to ignore.
If you receive anything marked Letter Before Action/Claim or from the county court come back for further advice as you should not ignore these.0 -

That came from the Manager of Asda who stated that TCP lease that part of the land so maybe he's wrong... either way TCP knew they were on to a loser0 -

I suspect that's just another one of their misleading statements to add to the normal Asda line of 'nothing to do with us as it belongs to the council'.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. Please don't panic about this, Smart Parking & Asda are in breach of the Equality Act 2010, they must make provisions and make adjustments for disabled people, if you look below Smart aren't even supposed to ticket cars with badges on display, this from the bpa code of practice.16.5 If your landowner provides a concession that allows parking for disabled people, if a vehicle displays a valid Blue Badge you must not issue it with parking charge notices.
Even if you didn't have a badge which by the way is not needed on private land, they still must make adjustments. My advice is complain to asda, go to the shop with your badge, some receipts from there even if its not from that day , and your harassment letter from DR+ and demand that the store manager cancels this, only speak to him/her
If they don't ask them for who to write to at head office, say that the complaint will be about the unlawful harassment you are receiving and about the store manager not cancelling this.
Don't get worried get annoyed with asdaWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Asda have been proven to lie about who owns their car parks - their normal statement is that they are owned by the council - strangely the councils contacted somewhat deny that ! For once I believe the councils.0
