Would you still have access to all organised activities/ facilities, I mean kids clubs, creche, etc?
What company owns/ runs Sensatori in Tenerife? Ps Just found it, it's melia and the prices are yuk!0 -
I stayed in the Barcelo Thalasso Spa in Caleta, Fuerteventura. Its AI, great kids clubs and the food is amazing. Its not a Sensatori hotel but I thought it was fab!0

A Holiday Village Tenerife you still get all facilities, apart from the First Choice kids club, but the hotel run their own anyway, so I wouldn't worry. You'd have to email the hotel about the creche though, don't know.
On site there's a mini cinema for kids, a large play complex on the bottom level, including high ropes, a big soft play bit, football. There's four or five pools, including a slide, and much more, the hotel literally has everything.0 -
Just booked Luabay Costa Los Gigantes for 7 nights at 363pp through Thomson. Yesterday separate bookings may have worked out cheaper, today however Easyjet flights have gone up and it's more or less the same. The Thomson package includes transfers etc. I take it there isn't going to be much difference in the accommodation depending on who you book with ( I read that Sensatori have the worse part of the hotel)
First Choice are about the same, I don't really get the point of having two companies/ websites when they are practically the same...
One questions - are the pools warm enough in December?0 -
The pools are warm enough all year around. Rooms are allocated randomly, as they're all the same type, unless you put a request in. I request K, L or M top floor. I recon theyre the best located.0

Obviously the best, do you have any last minutes tips for us? We're off soon. Is a top floor room going to be a problem, we'll have a pushchair with us? If I need to make any room requests (i.e. I want to make sure the room will be quiet and they won't forget the travel cot) is it best to contact Thomson or the hotel?0

We are planning on revisiting Sensatori Tennerife in 2014, does anyone have any tips on reducing the cost or getting any discounts? It's currently coming out as over £3k for a family of 4 in October
Or.. Does anyone know of another hotel that has just as good a kids club?0 -
I've been to Sensatori Crete - brilliant hotel and going back in July. The food was gorgeous!0

Not a Sensatori, but I can recommend the Oceania Spa and Resort in Halkidiki. It is an ultra all inclusive, the only thing is there is not all that much in the area, but if you just want to relax its perfect.
We went for the second time last year and managed to get a great deal, I think it was about £400 each. This was found on Travelz** on a weekly email. I have seen it on there quite a few times.Wins 2014 - £100 John Lewis Vouchers, Personalised Razor, Aunt Bessies Oven Glove. Good food show tickets. Forever Friends Bear.0
