Sensatori type resorts

Hello all,

After many years of (wet) UK holidays, we're looking to go abroad next year. We've heard great things about Sensatori resorts, but am wondering if there are any other similar places that are in Europe or Egypt (basically somewhere warm and relatively short flying time).

We've just had our third baby and would like somewhere all inclusive so we can keep an eye on costs but where we can all relax and have fun.

Thanks

  • Sensator have properties in Turkey and I think Crete and the canaries. Brochure or online from Thomson.
All first choice hols are now AI, so I'd look for child friendly premium ones ...

I was just about to recommend Sensatori in Tenerife too :D

Or by your question, OP, do you mean "like Sensatori but cheaper"?

depends on budget, there's plenty of resorts like them - sensatori is expensive for what it is and does get booked up very quickly - don't expect a bargain.

Sensatori resorts in Greece and Egypt are run by http://www.atlanticahotels.com/

They have the Holiday Villages in Kos and Rhodes which are also very family orientated and quite popular...

Thanks all. I've heard great things about the Tenerife one, but its coming out at £9k for next summer! Was trying to find similar type resorts I.e. nice all inclusive, so yes like Sensatori but cheaper or other brands/companies to search for.
  • We've booked a massive risky cheapo holiday.

1 week Turkey (Side) in November for 1 week, AI in adult block swim up room for less than £500 each
It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice

Side is not the best place in Turkey, but it boasts about its beaches. The new promenade is good. The actual centre is a tourist trap, walk quickly down to the sea, and look at the shops on the way back . But expect lots of very similar looking shops. Good for rip off jeans and handbags.

The 'ancient' ruins are the worse displayed I have ever seen . But the Temple looks good in the moon light.

Ps all the shops display prices in the Euro.

Anyone any feedback on the Sensatori hotel in Egypt? And are they only available through Thomson?
  • Sensatori have several hotels located around Europe.
Others to consider are Sentido, Sol, Melia or RIU who are all decent hotel chains that offer similar things. (All Inclusive, Spa facilities, kids clubs etc).
There's also a whole host of non-chain hotels that are great too.
Try the Princesa Yaiza Suites in Lanzarote or the Delphin Imperial in Lara Turkey if you want more of a luxury all inclusive experience.
