    It's done automatically...they take the money..then tell you that you've renewed and say your policy was set to 'auto-renew'.

    I can't change the setting..I have no email address or phone number..I can't find anywhere on the website to change it.

    As has been said, next year when it comes up for renewal, if you dont want it, then you tell them not to renew. The option will be there then.

    He should be able to stop next years renewal now if he wants or cancel this years policy. Not being able to contact them is farcical.

    He can contact them. However, they are just not facilitating a button press on the internet to allow it. That is not farcical.

    Check your policy docs for canx / admin fees

    If it is worthwhile cancelling to go to another insurer then I think you can email them here.
