Just had my home insurance auto-renewed by quotemehappy. I can't find how to stop the auto-renewal for next year.
Anyone know how or have a direct email address?
cheers

Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, when you criticise them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Phone them a week or 2 weeks or even a month before and say when the policy expires you wont be renewing.
Back it up with a letter sent recorded delivery if you want.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

I don't think you can phone them as they seem to deal exlusively online but if you log in there will be "contact us" button to send them an email.0

I've tried that but I just get re-directed to suggested FAQs..no email address.

rutters - maybe try the "complaints" button.
If you don't get any joy with that mabe try to contact Aviva as they seem to be part of Aviva group.
What did it say on the renewal notice about the auto renew? They should have given you info on how to lapse the policy.
If you have just recently auto renewed then you probably won't be able to opt out of the auto renewal until the insurance is due again next year.
Make sure you have a note of when it is due and shop around before hand so you can decide if you want the policy next year.
If you feel that you have paid over the odds for your renewal, this year, you can still cancel and go for a cheaper policy. There will normally be a cancellation / admin charge but if the price difference is significant it may be worth it.0 -
From quote me happy website
If your policy is set to automatically renew, we’ll renew it on the day your current policy is due to expire, unless you cancel your renewal. You can cancel your renewal by logging into My account, go to My policies click on Amend & Renew and then click on the Cancel renewal link.0 -
Logged in...went to policies...there is no 'amend and renew' option...so I clicked on every option there was..none of which gives a 'cancel renewal' option. Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.

There won't be one now because your policy has renewed...All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.0 -
so how do I cancel renewal?
(I must say that this seems to be a ruse by QMH so you forget to cancel renewal till it's to late)
It's also annoying that you can't contact them. Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.
