I have a brand new netgear router going spare if you would like it. We were given it as a replacement when we thought ours was faulty, but the problem had been with the actual service so we didn't use it. we've since changed provider so don't need it.

Lovely offer, but I'm not sure whether we need a specific one as we're on digital region and not 'normal' internet (I don't know the specifics... that's man territory)! We are going to give them a deadline of 1-2 weeks as I'm getting so fed up of trying to watch a movie on netflix and having to keep resetting the router... it always disconnects right before the good bits too!

I made some v odd looking cakes the other day. Which has turned out ok for me as I've eaten pretty much all of them and they taste lovely :)

Hope the month picks up for you, it's horrible when all the cr.ap comes at the same time.
  • Just wanted to send a *hug* to you all, been a rubbish month here too between financial issues and hospital treatment!

It gets better. OH just brought the car back from the garage where it's been all day and there's two not insubstantial amounts of damage on the passenger side which wasn't there this morning grrrrrrrrre
  • I feel your pain! My hubby went to the dentist and ended up with a new crown and various other works to the tune of £200. This was the same day that the mechanic who had his car to quote us on a fault phoned to say that the gearbox had been fixed and that would be £450 now. Thank you. Please.

I went to our credit union to lodge £30 savings feeling quite proud of myself. The lady filled in the cashier slip for £20 so I lost a tennerjudt by trying to save and through my own stupidity.

I came home and decided to deep clean the kitchen and managed to splash bleach on my new trousers (the first new trousers I've treated myself to in two years). They're now ruined.

In the midst of all this bad luck a pigeon cr&£@d on me. Good luck I thought? Wrong!!! Ruined cardigan!

I should have just stayed in bed this month.

Sorry to hear you are having such a rubbish time. You have certainly had more than your fair share of problems recently by the sounds of it. Hope it all sorts itself out soon OP. In the meantime forget what the cakes look like. Get some friends round and just enjoy eating them over a cuppa and a chat :)
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.
  • Not a horrible week, but definitely the biggest comedown in the space of the shortest time.

Late Sunday night: Finished building my first PC which all worked on first power up...Yeahh!!
Monday morning: Flushed the toilet and flooded the kitchen through the ceiling... No.

    :starmod:you're awesome.. act like it:starmod:

I hope things improve for you, sometimes it's just one thing after another.
I know at times I've actually looked round for hidden cameras as I can't believe so many things have gone wrong at the same time.

Well I hope today is better. To top it all off yesterday my pc got memory issues out of nowhere so kept throwing blue screens at me and then permanently restarted itself :( OH managed to fix it just before I crawled in bed before the house imploded or spmething
