Grrrr one of those months!

Do you ever have one of those months where nothing EVER goes right?!

Car has just been in for some work doing... guess what, the part that needs replacing is not in the place the mechanic 'assumed' it was and as in fact in a very awkward position which will cost us double, and he can't even do it today as it'll take so much time...

Been getting 5 broadband disconnects in 3-4 hours, ISP basically treats us like we're fibbing, we did work ourselves and found out the router was faulty, they claimed they had "absolutely no problem" sending a replacement, but they want to find out the specific problem first as they need to give the manufacturer a reason... this was last month and they keep insisting on monitoring it more, so basically telling us it's tough and we have to disconnect all the time with no eta when they can be bothered to fix it!

I had some lovely beauty treats coming... unfortunately they are being delivered with yodel... failed delivery yesterday, she left a card to text her, I have no response, hasn't turned up today, tracking number says she has basically dumped it at the depot with no redelivery date, yodel about as useful as a waterproof towel so now not sure what to do...

And to round it off, my cupcakes sunk and they look more like mini bundt cakes

Oh, and I also forgot to add, the dog had to go to the vets, five minute check up, injection £31!!! Then find out afterwards from very knowledgable friends that the injection he gave us was temporary and he had essentially fobbed us right off, so now we need to go back to work out more permanent solution!!!!

I think I'm going to rip my hair out, needed to rant!!!

Yodel are crap so I feel your pain.

Routers can be had very cheaply now. Sometimes just easier to go and buy one yourself and hook it all up again.

And as for the cakes, it doesn't matter what they look like, its what they taste like that counts ;)

I know the feeling this week. Some horrible person smashed glass at the end of my drive, appointments in town on Monday were a nightmare and hubby trying to burn some garden rubbish went wrong and next door say its damaged their trampoline. Struggling with my assignment while kids are off and no longer feel like I had a holiday last week.

    Enjoy your cake btw

Also re: the cakes, if you're not sure they look good enough for other people to eat, at least you have them all to yourself
Excuse any mis-spelt replies, there's probably a cat sat on the keyboard

I think I'm just going to have to make a metric tonne of buttercream and cover them in it. It'll be more buttercream than cake :o

Make sure they don't sink like mine!!! I know it sounds weird, but what about vacuuming the grass? Neighbours might start talking and you'll probably end up with a mini zoo in your hoover, but could be a good way of getting the little bits.

I have a brand new netgear router going spare if you would like it. We were given it as a replacement when we thought ours was faulty, but the problem had been with the actual service so we didn't use it. we've since changed provider so don't need it.
    . . .I did not speak out

    Then they came for me
And there was no one left
    To speak out for me..
