Flight Delay June 2007

Hi, I experienced a flight delay in June 2007. We were flying from Blackpool to Alicante about 12 of us on a Hen Party Weekend.

From what I remember we checked in and was told the aircraft we were going on had a technical fault so they were sending a different aircraft for us. We were a bit fed up but as previously stated we were on a hen weekend so not much was going to be able to put us in a bad mood. Eventually the plane arrived and disaster a member of staff reversed the catering trolley into the plane. We then had to wait for another plane to come and take us.

I didn't deal with any of the booking so I can't remember all the details but from memory I think we were supposed to fly at 7 in the morning. We flew on or around 3 in the afternoon.

At the time we never made a fuss just bought more food and drink and made the most of a bad situation.

I have no booking form no flight number or anything and I'm not sure who reversed into the plane was that the airlines fault or Blackpool airport. Without all the information do you think I'll be able to make a successful claim? :beer:
