Orange misadvised and have no record of call

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering how I could resolve this issue.

I agreed with orange over the phone that I could reduce my line rental. They are now saying they have no record of this and want me to pay the full amount.

I have sent in an official complaint and have explained I am willing to pay the reduced amount.

Has anybody had any similar problems and where do I stand?

Did you take the name and team/staff number of the person you spoke to? Did you ask them to confirm the details by text or letter?

Without proof, it's your word against theirs and you are unlikely to get anything resolved.

You are liable for making whatever payment you are contracted to make.

This is one of the worst things of dealing over the phone with a service provider.

Unfortunately I didn't. This is what I was afraid off.

Will see what reply I get back but won't hold my breath.
