Oh dear, the exam results were not great as we expected. I think he will hopefully resit the year with a different attitude and a much clearer understanding of what needs to be done.
Have an appointment with head of 6 th form next week, hopefully he will be ok to retake the year.
Never mind it's not the end of the world and hopefully the kick up the bum he needs although I felt terribly sorry for him this morning:(
I got a C, an E and a U in my A Levels - I started back at college to resit one of the courses (and do an extra couple of AS levels) but at the end of freshers week I got a phone call from the Uni to say I had been accepted on my course after all (turns out the Head of Faculty had been on the phone all day to Uni admissions!)
Long story short I only have a C and an E in my A Levels, but I also have a 2:2 honours degree now, so your son shouldn't lose heart - he will get where he wants to be in the end and A Levels are not the end of the world.the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j0
