Good morning all,
Very anxious DS 3 gets his results for As levels this morning. No doubt we will have a big discussion later as we suspect he may have to repeat the year. Fingers crossed he will have scraped through, we shall see, positive vibes please:)
DG Happy Birthday have a wonderful day:beer:
Yesterday was a big day in our family, my cousin gave her nephew a kidney. Everyone was tested and she was a match. Both doing well at the moment so fingers crossed it continues. Her nephew has had a tough life and is only 22, he lost his dad in similar circumstances to the one RR has had so we've really all got our fingers crossed for him.
It's a bit dark and overcast here. I want to do some baking as I didn't get it done yesterday. May have the car later so will pop for some supplies.
Have a good day all xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Hi all,
Grey and raining today. It's my last day off work today. It's my mums birthday tomorrow, but since I have to go to work and both me and BF are off today, we have brought it forward 1 day! Looking forward to Nando's for lunch!
Landlord was over last night and likes the front porch (phew!) he said we have made the house look much nicer than when he lived there!
Not much else going on, just have to try and get rid of the horrible sick feeling I have about going back to work....
Hope you all have a good day!the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j0 -
Good morning on this exciting day!
Happy birthday Donny!
Good luck exam resulters!
Hugs all round to those who need or want one!
I'm still smiling after DH's clear scan yesterday.
Today my bath lift arrives - I am very excited :j
More ironing today and some more sorting out upstairs as it is wet and dreary outside.
Time to start dashing away with the smoothing iron ... xI can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Morning all
I'm reading every day but don't always feel up to posting.
Very traumatic trip to the Drs y'day, the road was closed, no diversion & I rang the surgery the receptionist suggested I walked the last 400yds. I can't even walk 20yds to the end of my garden.
Still one I got there the Dr was helpful, seems I've been doing everything wrong, I've been trying to push my self into getting up & doing stuff, where as I should have been resting as much as possible. I'm not to eat ant more bananas for a while as my potassium levels are now through the roof. My BP was high, but hardly surprising after the road closure.
Colonoscopy on 23rd, deep joy, but hopefully it will supply some answers.

Morning all,
I slept soundly last night. Not even Millie dog woke me up for her usual wee. I don't remember the men going to work or the water board digging up the footpath just up the road. Surprising really as the window is open. I need to go outside to see what mess the cats have made of my bin bags but ive been putting that off since I got up but its unfair to let the Postie face it before I do.
Listed my things on Eb*y yesterday. Had one sale within minutes of listing it so i'm happy about that. We will see what today brings.
Not a lot planned for today, just the usual routine but that's ok.
Lamb for tea tonight. I'll probably do hubby his usual mash and me and 'Youngest' will probably have wedges.
Donny Gal have a lovely birthday.
I'm a bit short of cash this week so I didn't get you a candle. Hope you don't mind.:D

Great film last night, the Lone Ranger, don't believe the reviews, it was hilarious. Well worth £2.50 seat price!
Off to Broadstairs folk week for a look around and to friends beach hut for lunch, maybe a swim if warm enough. All very OS as we take our lunch with us and put the world to rights whilst eating....
Sausage pasta tonight.
Hugs to those who need them.Carolbee0 -

Morning All
Thank you for your birthday wishes, both on here and on FB, 21 again x3 -1, had. Lovely card from DH, and card and phone call from DS, plus other and one from the rally here. Someone also put up a Happy Birthday flag for me. I treat myself to a camera with a big zoom for my birthday, so have been playing with that but want a brighter day to take some good shots of Mounts Bay, so I might have a go at painting it. Might get a postcard to use!!
Need to get my hair washed later, it will wait until it dries up a little first, the rain has stopped but a big soggy underfoot. Need to pop to Lidl (nearest) as need some Cheese and Biscuits to go with the wine for the "afters" we are putting on for everyone tonight, after the Cider & Pasty nite we are having.
We have a soggy doggie, as she has been for a walk, and is now fastened up outside in the awning, which she is not impressed with, but she needs to dry out!
((Hugs)), Spoons, and Positive Vibes all round, HH REST. Take care everyone DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club
Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
Oh dear, the exam results were not great as we expected. I think he will hopefully resit the year with a different attitude and a much clearer understanding of what needs to be done.
Have an appointment with head of 6 th form next week, hopefully he will be ok to retake the year.
Never mind it's not the end of the world and hopefully the kick up the bum he needs although I felt terribly sorry for him this morning:(Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
