Delta Airlines non communication

We filed a compensation claim for a delay from Dublin to Orlando via Atlanta, which resulted in an overnight stopover in Atlanta( which was also a commotion in itself!) + reaching our destination 15 hours late. Travelling were 2 adults + 2 children. It is now day 33 + despite an automated receipt of our complaint detailing we would have a response within 30 days maximum, we have had no further correspondence from this company. Any advice on our next port of call would be much appreciated.

Send them a Notice Before Action letter indicating that unless they settle this satisfactorily within 14 days you will start legal proceedings. And then do just that. What other options are there?
