Before I joined BT Infinity, I had my phone only with BT, and was on a deal that gave me inclusive evening calls for free for agreeing to a 12 month contract. This was separate from Line Rental Saver and had a different start date for the 12 months!

I can't test whether this is still available as my Infinity package includes evening calls anyway. But perhaps someone who only has weekend calls could confirm whether this is still available. It was always fairly well hidden.

Log in to "My BT". Click on "My phone" at the top, then on "Your calling plan" on the left. Then click the "Change your calling plan" button.

At this point, you are asked to confirm you are the account holder to "Start your order". Don't be alarmed, you can cancel the process at any point. If you continue, it takes you to a page with far more options than the glossy public advert pages. One of these was always "Evening and weekend calls at no extra cost". This commits you to a new 12 month contract from today, irrespective of Line Rental Saver or broadband.

Please could someone confirm if this option still exists? If it does, it's a way for anyone to restore their evening calls when upgrading broadband - the latter commits to a new 12 month contract anyway so this is not an issue.
