Ask the Nationwide frontline staff for a Section 75 claim form. It explains clearly on there what you need to do and what you need to send to them with the claim form, ie copies of e-mails etc.
Do it quickly you don't have much time to put in the claim, can't remember exactly how long but I'd do it sooner rather than later.

S75 has 6 years.... So I do not think that is a issue.....
But there are chargeback rights available here.
OP. Needs to speak to the Disputes team. They will give the correct info.

Thank you everyone for your advice. I sent copies of all the email correspondence I had with the seller and a covering letter to my credit card company.
I received a letter from the credit card company advising me that they had been able to retrieve all the costs back off the seller.
This is an excellent outcome.
I hope this may help anyone else who finds themselves in a similar situation.0
