What are my options?

Hi
Seek advice regarding cutting costs on my virginmedia bundle. Currently my bill is £40-45 pm for the following package:
BBnd: up to 30 mb
TV: Medium + package
Ph: Medium package
Called them last night and asked what they could do in terms of helping me cut my costs (mentioned that I would rather stay with them but phoning around just in case). At min I'm exploring all options, including dropping part of a package and going somewhere else to a provider for BB only (is that possible?). Or dropping the TV package and getting a Freeview box.
All views welcome.
Thanks
M

Firstly, are you within any minimum term ?
as that might limit your options bait0 -
If you want to negotiate the best deal you can from VM then speak to retentions (thinking of leaving option) rather than just customer support.
Consider whether or not you want all parts of that package too and what options would be useful to you - for instance if they offered anytime calls cheaply would you actually use the option.0
