Let's hope house building also sees a sharp increase.
Faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Anyone see any quotes from the Government that "welcomes sharp increases in house prices".

No I didn't think so, yet more trolling by our resident muddler.

Oh look the first paragraph of the article.....
The government has welcomed data from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors that suggests both the number of buyers entering the property market and house prices are increasing sharply.

The Beeb may have paraphrased the exact message but that's ultimately what people will read.

Paraphrased which quotes, can you find them. I bet you can't, you'll have more success finding that the usual trolls on this forum have jumped on an innacurate headline that has no quotes from the government.

Feel free to confirm that the bloke from Devon is a troll looking for attention.

people in my office were all talking about house prices today, all talking about buying before it is too late again

This is the problem - it's creating a panic situation and making people buy the wrong house at the wrong price. Not a happy thought!
