Hi all,
Just found this thread - some amazing successes!!
I've cancelled the credit card and its terrifying! I'm so used to having it and always end up spending on it! I normally always paid it off in full every month, but would always end up using it again through the month. I would end up buying things on it that I wouldn't otherwise have bought so it's paid off and gone!!
I've still got another credit card with a 0% balance transfer on it, so now will be chipping away at that over the next few months!Getting myself back on track! Pay off debt and save deposit time!0 -
I just paid off £1300 of council tax arrears I didn't know I had (it had been an attachment of earnings but it had never been deducted).

3 months in a row I've stayed out of the overdraft and one more payment to go on Friday and I will have cleared £15000 on my cc. Can't believe that I am quite this excited. Nearly twenty years of being in some sort of debt......:j:j0

I am very proud and relieved to have just paid a total of 10,000 towards my DMP! This gives me confidence that I can and will do it in the end!Member 116 2 pound savers club:) 167 virtual sealed pot challenge:j0

I cleared the mbna card today. I started with a balance of 5.5k on interest free and managed to pay it off within the interest free period.
2 cards to go with a balance of £3621 to be gone by the end of August! Then I'll be debt free yayyyyyy0 -
A small victory but paid my electric bill before the bill was due! Just the gas bill now, which is £160 so not too bad. Then that's it until June. I'd been anxious about it for a while so glad to have nearly paid it all
