?Can I claim

Hi there, just wondering if someone can advise whether I can make a claim or not
In December 2006 I left Aberdeen to commence a gap year to Australia. After weather and aircraft problems I flew from Aberdeen to London Heathrow with BMI and had missed my connecting flight with BA to Dubai. It was 21st December and complete chaos in London due to freezing fog. British airways told me I was the responsibility of BMI and had to sleep overnight on the floor of Heathrow as BA had rescheduled a flight for me, but not until that evening. I was spending two weeks with friends in Dubai then flying on to Australia, however I had to wait for over a week in Dubai till my baggage was found and sent to me in Dubai. I had booked my flights through netflights.com but over the telephone.
Do I have a claim?
Thank you in advance.

No, claims have to be brought within 6 years so you are out of time. Even if it was within 6 years, delays caused by weather are generally not claimable0
