    Not really.

    I got a load of advice for stuff i never asked for. If i'd wanted to know how long it would be before i could move into the new place i would have asked that.

    I've already done the move from the South of England to Edinburgh, but the missus arranged most of that as i was at full time work through the week...now the roles are reversed so the info on how to plan is handy!

    We moved up from Kent to the Scottish Borders last year :)

    Well it's not the scalding heat of the Kent coast but I actually prefer it! I'm so white I practically glow in the dark and my skin doesn't ever tan (I vary between blue, white, pink and red) so I now spend less time peeling like a radioactive banana whilst out admiring the beautiful countryside :D
