I always use Sports Direct for polo tops, t-shirts and shorts, never had an issue.

I don't mind being a bit crowded, when I'm getting the same polo, t-shirts and shorts for dirt cheap, that other sports store are selling for 50% + more.

I usually spend £50 - £100 each year before I go on holiday, wear them throughout the year and sometimes beyond, then do the same before the next years holiday.

Some people (not the OP), expect the same quality from a £5 polo shirt, as from a £70 lacoste one, although some of my £5 polo's from last year are still in great nick.

Because it's a bit of a full shop, that's all! Just seems an extraordinary thing to warrant moaning about that's all.

Don't get me wrong, venting about bad customer service, I get...but feeling the need to whinge because of a shop's layout is, well, ridiculous.

Each to their own I guess.

Well. neither of my colour options was available in-store but those which were were 50% dearer than the same item on-line so I'll actually only pay £1 more by ordering on-line and paying delivey- and will avoid having to revisit a store!

There's no denying they have good prices but I just wonder how anyone can find anything in the blasted places! I just found it all so overwhelming and wanted to get out!

My only issue Sports Direct is the one near me is very large on 2 floors.
Went in to buy son football kit. After searching football section, Large sizes only and children's bit I finally found someone to ask. Football shirts age upto 9 years were in one place 10-13s appeared to be in another and I think 14-17 were some where else. Football shorts were in various locations downstairs unless you were aged 10 -12 then they were upstairs.
Whole experience made my head spin.

It's never a pleasure to go there, but they do have some bargains. Got a great foul weather hi-viz jacket there at a super price.

Sports Direct really is a freaky shop isn't it? I wanted some dumbbells but had to go back a second time with the OH because I couldn't get the pram in the shop.

They're not exactly catering to disabled sports players are they? Can you imagine trying to navigate those swollen aisles in a wheelchair? Tsk tsk.
There main market is Chav wear and very little to do with sport.

Ours closed down a few months ago. Good riddance to them - they used to put loads of displays in the street outside the store, regardless of whether or not it was raining! A shame for the staff though - not their fault.

It's a cheap shop. Focused on shifting as much product as they possibly can - you can tell that before you even enter the shop. Nothing wrong with that.

Some people like primark, some people hate it.

If you want cheap stuff go to sports direct. If you want a more refined shopping experience go somewhere else and pay for it.

    Not rocket science is it.
