Mis Sold Sky TV

Hi,

I rang up Sky a few weeks ago (they transferred me to AVuk Satellites and Aerials), told by AVuk I would have 6 months Sky TV half price and 12 months half price line rental.

I had Sky TV installed on Saturday (Broadband and phone installed in a few weeks)

I rang up today and asked them about my package and Sky didn't have any knowledge about the 6 months TV half price.

What do I do?

Can I cancel? how long do I have? AVUK are trying delaying tactics..

Under the S.O.G. Distance Selling Regs you have 7 working days from receipt to notify the supplier of your wish to cancel. If you deal direct I think they allow you longer than that - but you say you didn't.

In any case, it will say in your contract.

Your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations are different for services and goods. In many cases, your right to cancel a service expires once it has gone live.
