Meanwhile, please do use the expire button if it's appropriate and you think it's urgent, if it helps get things moved quicker and you think it works - remember this is your board :)

    Hi LuckyOne.

After the merge clicking expired is not required as doing so will push a live comp to GO.

I think we may be misinterpreting MSE Andrea's post & that clicking expired just applies to expired comps & not dupes.

I am taking my lead from Glad here:

"Also I think it's a bad idea to expire dupes, send a pm to a BG to ask for a merge as usual and if the OP spots that thay have duped and can put DUPE in the title until it's merged all the better
    "

This practice of expiring dupes was mentioned once,by one non comping board BG.We now seem to moving down a road that is not a route that we all wish to travel.

    I understand Fire**fly,

It's brilliant now we can expire comps instead of having to Pm a BG, makes the board faster getting rid of the dupes & self promotions

It's Brilliant MSE Andrea Thank You

    No weeowens,

It's for anything we want to get off the comp board, Dupes, merges & self promotion
