Driving Experience

The driving jobs aren't all about driving, you have to be good with dealing with customers, have to be good with paperwork, getting signatures and the like. When I first passed my test 20 odd year ago I thought driving jobs but they wouldn't touch me with a barge pole and unless I had atleast 2 years experience.
As for car driving those jobs are few and far between, maybe getting a job in a warehouse with occasional driving would be good to get experience or pharmacy driver.
I'm looking for admin as well as driving. I don't want to work in a warehouse and occassionally drive as I really don't want warehouse work. It's either an actual driving job or admin. A mix of the two is fine.
You have to get a job at some point to get that experience though, same with any job.
It was a pharmacy driver job I originally applied for and was rejected.0 -

I got my driving experience from covering when the usual driver was off ill or on holiday. I was a normal shopfloor worker in a factory that was my main job that's why I suggested going into a factory/warehouse as you more likely to gain the driving experience.0 -

Oh right. Well I'd probably be useless at most factory/warehouse jobs (ones I've seen tend to say heavy lifting) and I have even less experience in something like that than in admin or driving and as all jobs want people with experience I'm probably no better off apply for them type of jobs sadly.0
