Oh well - either all will be made clear eventually, or it'll remain one of life's mysteries - I just needed to tell someone, I think.
If he was going to leave Mr LW some money why would he want to know about your health? My guess is that he hopes you will pop off this mortal earth and then he is free to persuade Mr LW to leave him some. However, i'm just too suspicious for my own good sometimes.
What a mix up of a morning! Got as far as the Post Office all well and good. Go to collect my medication and that's when it started to unravel. Now normally the pharmacist orders my medication and delivers it to me. 3 months ago I had to collect my own as they were having staffing difficulties. No problems, I only ask that its delivered because half the time they don't have all my medication in and I have to go back. At least this way they get it all together and its delivered in one.... Now last week I got the phone call from the pharmacist to check there was no alterations to my repeat list (which there wasn't). I was told it would be ready for collection on Friday. That's where I went wrong. I presumed they hadn't got their staffing problems fixed so off I toddled to the pharmacy. My medication wasn't there. Obviously it was out with the driver and it was due to be delivered to me today. So I raced back up the road to find he'd been. So after a few phone calls back and forth to the chemist to check if the driver had still got my medication he finally turns up with it. Bless him I was going to go and collect it as it was mostly my fault.
Then my daughter came to visit with Grandbaby in tow. Sight for sore eyes I can tell you. I had a 3 hour cuddle in between phone calls and the 'Girls' being sick on the carpet. Too soon to see how the Girls are going to take to the new addition to the family. They seemed clingy and interested. I think they wanted a lick but of course they didn't get one. I think i'm going to think about babysitting duties a bit more. It was really difficult trying to keep a couple of nosey and inquisitive dogs away from a newborn baby. I had to keep pushing them away. They definitely wont be given the opportunity to be left alone with the baby. Dogs and children make me feel uncomfortable to say the least but I feel torn.
Ive vacuumed throughout though the living room needs doing again as Lucy dog had a shake whilst daughter was here and scattered lots of white dog hairs all over my dark green carpet. Daughter sat there picking white dog hairs off her very black leggings:-@. I am also having to carry Lucy dog up and down the stairs as her back must still be giving her pain. When I am upstairs she stops at the bottom crying to come up.

The other possibility, and this is really too awful to think about, is that he's in cahoots with QBOTU (Mr LW's Ex-W) who is an extremely spiteful woman, and who would, even now, do her damnedest to see us bankrupt or otherwise in as much doo-doo as she could possibly procure.
Watch this space.....:eek::eek:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Afternoon all!
Day started with me being productive, ransacked the fridge and turned the veg, smoked bacon and an Italian sausage into bottom of the fridge style take on Italian wedding soup, and I have to say it tastes very nice! Brother arrived for a haircut so sorted that, then went out to fetch some fresh veg, fruit and juice. Now that I'm home my head is starting to throb and eyes are playing up, looks like a migraine is starting so am off to pop some pills and retire to a darkened room for a bit!RIP Iain

Ha, girls are hard work especially as they are all in the throes of hormones at the moment. I would have loved a little boy but it just never happened, we had a baby a year for 3 years and then I wasn't allowed to have any more, much to my eldest DD's relief. I lost one early on in a pregnancy and I always think that would have been my son. Saying that, I have three sisters and that's all I really knew. I am so fascinated with my grandson, he is the apple of my eye, just so different to his sister and aunties. I have nephews but I don't live very close to them so we tend to see them at family occasions only.
Boys are so rufty tufty - girls are very complicated. Having said that I think I could only cope with one girl although there were two to start with but lost DD's twin early on. I do think she is still around though especially when DD was a youngster - I often thought she was in conversation with another child only to go investigate and it was just her.
I love my three boys though xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

LW - my take on it is he was trying to find out what you could and could not do so he could advise someone for their Benefits Claim.
Hi everyone, still down by the sea, took 2 loads into the Laundrette to be washed & dried, (for them to do it) I have far better things to do than sit in one of those places, £17 lighter, but worth it to me. Need to remake our bed now. Had a walk around Penzance Harbour with Skye, it is nice and bright, but it would be nice if the wind would drop.
Had cream tea and cakes as part of the rally, gave DH one of my pieces of cake, as I am not supposed to have any, but didn't have lunch and just had some cold meat for dinner to make up. The person running it is a lovely baker. She made scones in her caravan oven. So they were fresh today.
Tomorrow meeting up with friends from down here, take both our dogs for a walk, then coming back to us for a BBQ.
:hello: ((Hugs)), Spoons & Positive Vibes all round. Take care everyone. DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club
Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0
