Hi all, were after a bit of help
.
Over the past few days, we have had a little bit of disturbance from the house next door to us. Well, this isn't just a party, or a loud BBQ which are usually the common complaints...
Without going into too much detail, we are struggling to sleep as our neighbours are having EXTREMELY loud "sexual activities". This has been going on since around 4am up until 9am with small breaks. You wouldn't believe the noise, it was quite disturbing.
We have tried to move into a different room into the house, and no matter what room you go into, it is still a racket!
So, does anyone have any suggestions how to solve this without approaching them?

Bang on the wall? Talk very very loudly in the hopes they hear you and this makes them realise you can hear them? I don't envy you!0

Well, if they were at it from 4am to 9am with "small breaks" I'd say the drugs will have worn off by now.
Next time they have a session wait until the "happy ending" and give them a very loud standing-ovation. That should put a crimp on things nicely.0 -
Shout out of your wide open window in your most annoying voice:
'WE KNOW WHAT YER DOING, NER NER NE NER NER!!'0 -
Knock the door and ask them if one of their pets is in pain as you can hear an animal screeching. Take a list of vet numbers...they might get the hintIts all mind over matter. I don't mind and you don't matter:rotfl:0

I wouldn't approach them as such, but next time you talk to them I would probably jokingly say, "I wish I had your energy ... goodness me, you put us to shame!" ... you never know, they might get so carried away they don't realise just how much racket they make or that you can hear them ... !!
It's just a way of telling them they're being noisy beggars without actually being icky about it ... :O)0 -
When I had this experience (20Years+ ago), banging on the wall resolved it like cold water over a dog on heat.
If that fails you could always try loudly laughing, hysterically back at them.
:D :A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

We had this problem for 3 years with the neighbours in our old house, we ended up moving house as it was so awful.
Once we had sold, one night DH shouted out the window, becca I think next door are trying to make another baby. Stopped the noise for that night

Agree with others to bang on the wall as a first step. They are probably so caught up in their 'moments' they don't realise!
They might be embarrassed at the fact others know what they are doing and it might solve the problem. If it doesn't, then I think you'd have to say something if it becomes a regular thing.0 -
I actually think you can report them, and someone would have to investigate. Think they would be mortified...0
