Does cancer = automatic entitlement to pip?

    To be fair, if he has lost his sister to breast cancer as he states then I can understand his bitterness to an extent. What I can't understand or condone is his bitterness to those that live with or outlive cancer, nevermind the myriad of other medical issues that people suffer.

    I lost my fianc!e to a brain tumour in 2004, he had been diagnosed in 1998 when he was 28 years old and I was 27. I would never have been bitter towards anyone who was unwell and struggling to make ends meet!
