Supermarket cat food recommendation please

I usually buy Bozita but due to circumstances beyond my control (my work burnt down!!) I'm temporarily short of money so can't afford to make an order from zooplus right now.
Can someone recommend me a reasonably good quality supermarket food as a stop gap until I can get them Bozita again?

Butchers Classic is one of the cheapest supermarket brands, only comes in 400g tins and is cereal free.0

I would say Harringtons is better than Butchers, available now in most supermarkets and quite cheap0

Butchers - my lot love it...0

Butchers 'Classic', again, good quality and incredibly cheap - I've found it for as little as £2.75 for 6 tins. It did make me laugh some years ago (I bought several cases to feed the various outdoor ferals we care for) on opening a tin to start distributing meat into various bowls, two of my own pampered, fussy boys were scrambling to get their share, greedy lot! The ferals will eat all of them but my lot prefer certain flavours, (trout, or haddock but not ocean fish). They aren't as keen on the mixed meat 6 pack.0

Thanks guys! Will try Butchers and see how we get on. Hopefully it should just be temporary. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

You probably shouldn't be feeding them cat food thenAccept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
another vote for Butchers Classic. the cheapest place i've found it is Herons,it's mainly a frozen food shop, it's £2.50 for a pack of 6. last week i noticed a small bag of Classic cat biscuits next to the tins, never seen this before & was in a rush so didn't have time to take a closer look & couldn't see a price.'there goes an old transexual, last seen heading south,
her friends call her Bernie but her real name is Ralph'

as I've noticed that Butchers have changed - ie there is much more jelly than meat now - so a tin doesn't last as long as it used to (so moggies are now getting more biscuits as they are not fulled up with a bowl serving each like they used to be):(
can you confirm - having just googled it - is Harringtons dried food? Mine must have wet?0 -
Yup- all bottom part of a tin is just jelly now.
So I have to spread in a different way across 6 dishes or the ;ast one would have nothing to eat....
My lot only get 2 tins a day between the 6 of them, the rest is dry food (always out).
Will be moving back to Animonda from November though - wohoooo happy days0
