I found dust elephants last time I moved my bedroom furniture around :o:o

Nets already washed: that was one of the many jobs I could have done without yesterday.

One set have disintegrated. :o But I don't want to put them all up again anyway, I've already 'lost' several sets, there's just a couple of windows where it's best to use them.

On the plus side, I thought our flight tomorrow was 1.15 pm and it's not for a couple of hours after that. DH will still want to leave home early, but it makes me feel a bit less stressed ...

I would definitely take the castors off! then you have a 'platform bed'! (mirrors on the ceiling optional).
no space = no dust = simples!
I am not sure that is true. I fear you might find your bed gradually rising with the accumulation of dust mite debris underneath.

Decades ago, I earned startlingly good money as a cleaner & gold plated references for moving furniture in order to Hoover.
Now, I'm not paid to, there are kitbags & crates under the bed, & I'm waiting to see if a sentient day bunny will emerge. :o
At which point, I plan to open negotiations... :D

    Well, I'm still here ...

DH has found his clothes ready for me to pack, and now he's gone to bed. I may just have to buy new ones when we arrive. About half the window sills can now be safely approached in size 12 boots, mercifully including in DS3's bedroom. I'd say our bedroom is now about 3/4 clean.

Nothing was left undone in my mother's house.
Washing was always 'soaking', beds were 'airing', and dust?..........'settling'.

We are at the airport, with clothes. I must buy a suitcase in between the two I've got atm: I put the heavy stuff in the smaller one until it's full, and all the clothes and lighter stuff in the big one, which is very big. Then I weigh them: the big one is always overweight so I have to repack them both.

I like airlines which let you have a joint allowance, IYSWIM. Then one suitcase can be too heavy!

the house isn't clean, and there's a couple of downstairs windowsills which are not quite 'there' yet. I've removed the trip hazard in one room (half a dozen cables lying across it to trap the unwary ...) But the job's going to take more than a week so we can do more when we get back.

We do like our uncluttered bedroom! Must try to keep it that way ...
