I'm waiting for my bathroom from Wicks and they have just phoned and told me they can't find my order:eek::mad:
I'm going to tell them I have fitters booked for Monday- as I won't get it now today ? How much off should I go for as they have messed up:o
Thanks aau for the info :beer:as I'm getting all the rest at b&q and maybe the bath set now
nerf, my DD2 had problems with her Wickes order. She ordered a replacement window and set of casement doors which she had booked a fitter for, Wickes let her down twice. It was actually the supplier who let Wickes down. When they were delivered, 10 days late, some of the fittings were missing (handles etc). This meant her bf had to drive 40+ miles to pick up fittings from another store as they had a set of damaged doors in stock so had spare handles and took them from that.
She waited until the doors and window were actually fitted and rang and spoke to the manager. Said she had seen some tiles for her bathroom she liked and what compo would he offer her. She was very polite and nice about it and couldn't believe it when he offered her £200 in Wickes vouchers. She was well happy as the vouchers went a long way to finishing off her bathroom.
Hope you get on ok:happylove Nanny to 2 Cherubs :happylove0 -

I'm so rubbish at complaining!!! I used my £8 pp at mr t yesterday to stock up on baby food etc (which has been a great help so thank you all so so much!!)
Anyway at the checkout we had to wait for a manager to check my MOCs which was fine however the checkout girl decided to tell me how f*****g s**t the managers were so obviously I made a complaint to head office online last night!
Got a phone call this morning full of apologies and I was kind of hoping for some vouchers - she said ill see what I can do ill call you back! Well I missed the call as I was busy and se left a voicemail to say you already have £38 club card vouchers and told me about club card boost - that's it!!!! :-(
I really wish I'd picked up now I feel like I've been ripped off!!0 -
Woooo... There's a Young's Mariner's Pie "Special Pack" on msm for A. Getting excited!! But..do they mean 'special' in the sense of much lower weight than before, or available elsewhere? 300g for it now.
Go for Young's Mariner Pie 340g from T, assuming it's still there, which has just doubled in price - maybe a DTD there?? - and, you guessed it, comp. back vs M's £1.00!
Also Young's Fisherman Pie - nice price incr. to £2 in T - hopefully the SEL saying £1 - vs M at £1.00!:rotfl:
Far be it from me to be so cynical as to think some prices are increasing for the bank holiday (for many of us anyway) or at least the working-week weekend shoppers.0 -
