Morning all. Flump free in A here too (predictive text wanted to change it to clump). Love the idea that the bigwigs might discuss them at their daily meetings :D

Does anyone know roughly how long a passport renewal takes these days please? I need to do mine soon and need to get timing right.

I think if you pay the extra and do check and send it's usually max of a couple of weeks (we did our last lot around Christmas time and it was still quite quick)

I have the new flumps :j but can only get them in Ts, local As don't seem to have any :(

Why not send passport off now? as it continues from the date thats on it now i believe

I need it in September and then potentially again in November so wondered if there would be enough time to do it in between. I'm thinking if I have everything ready and send off as soon as I'm back from September trip I might be ok.

At present if you send it off yourself it's taking 3-4 weeks.
Remember black pen, keep with in the squares. Fee £72.50
Or if you want Post Office to check it it's an extra £8.75

If you have 6 months left on your existing passport they will add this onto new one

And you always need 6 months left before expiry if going abroad

Takes Post Office hat off :o

But puts it back on again as off to work :(

DO NOT USE SERVICE OFFERED ONLINE AS YOU PAY £40 FOR A COMPANY (NOT PASSPORT OFFICE) TO FILL YOUR FORM IN
