Here's my full Morries list of what sweets they have (have had) on 3 for £2 (and 89p individually), so you can work out what weights are relating to what:
M's:
Milk Chocolate Caramels 195g
Mint Humbugs 227g <<<<A(250g) vs M
Dark Chocolate & Peppermint Cremes (70% something or other) 155g ???comparable from T's 170g Dark Choc & Mint Cremes? (good if it is, as it most likely gets you 170g for the same as the M price for 155g. In effect, with the PP refund voucher, etc...)
Mint Imperials 227g <<<<T (250g) vs M
Everton Mints 227g
Butter Mentoes 200g <<<<T(same weight) vs M??
Dairy Toffee 185g
Dairy Fudge 195g <<<<A (200g) vs M
Licquorice Allsorts 200g
American Hard Gums 227g
Rhubarb & Custards 200g <<<<Or T (same weight) vs M??
Jelly Babies 227g <<<<A (250g)vs M
Jelly Beans 227g <<<<A (Gourmet 225g) vs M
Fruit Pastilles 227g <<<<A (250g) vs M (but T's Eday Value Fruit Pastilles from T may be cheaper, or 'own brand' ones in Aldi which are possibly larger for around the same price as Eday)
Licquorice Toffees 185g
Mint Assortment 227g <<<<A (250g) vs M
Fruit Sherbets 227g
Dark Chocolate Cremes 200g
Barley Sugar 200g
Banofee Eclairs 175g
Licquorice Sticks & Twists 200g
Milk Chocolate Raisins 175g
Sherbet Lemon 200g <<<<T (same weight) vs M??
Blackcurrant & Licquorice 227g
Kopp Kops 200g
Chocolate Eclairs 185g <<<<T (200g) vs M
Milk Chocolate Caramels 155g(? don't know where this has come from? Also have 195g?)
Pink & White Marshmallows 200g <<<<Possibly T (same weight) price match vs M
Milk Chocolate Peanuts 175g
White Chocolate Eclairs 185g
Licquorice Comfits 200g
But Eday Milk Choc Eclairs & Eday Pastilles (or version in Aldi) more likely cheaper.
Standard range Choc Eclairs in T though may get you 200g for M's 185g price (if they compare as they should!) - but even with that it's more than likely more expensive than T Eday Value in T on price per g etc. And T's Mint Imperials 250g may give you 23g more per pack if they compare vs Morries (msm suggests A's SP Clear Mints at 50p in A, cheaper per g, and perhaps really it should be those SP ones vs T? M's Savers Clear Mints (175g) are way outside the 10% weight range from A's SP Clear Mints).
A is 250g on the Butter Mentoes, for example, if you want to try a glitch vs M (M being 200g and below the weight range, but it might adjust more upwards - you wouldn't get 10% off as M's weight is more than 10% lower in the first place - and it should return N/A - leaving you with three packs:eek: of more expensive A Butter Mentoes).
I've put question marks after some of the possibly Tvs M ones, as I don't know why you'd buy them if they're just the same weight in T and matching to the same M price (assuming they match) - seems safer to me to buy these in M.
All this outside N.Ireland of course.0 -

Many many thanks my chicken for the most thanked, helpful post on here earlier.:T:T:T (Thanks, that's more than brilliant).
I've completed the bagged sweets vs M (watch them suddenly remove the 3 for £2 now - although I don't think they will, but you watch..:rotfl:) - I'm to continue, with posting the Tvs comps lists, and more!, later. (It's about time I also covered those of you in N Ireland isn't it???;):D About time...too.:(:mad::):o:).)
See you!!!:):):j:j:wave::wave::D0 -
I just couldn't be bothered to go get some JC today - it's a 14/15 mile round trip so figured it wasn't worth it & I shouldn't have anyway as diabetic. Couldn't be bothered to go to Tesco either for some ready meals - which are REALLY nice but calorie, fatwise dreadful.
Smoking - have given up a few times but stress always makes me go back. Kept off it for a year/2 years a few times, then we go to the US for a holiday & to see the stepdaughters and grand-daughter and we always start again - so damned stressful over there - need a holiday when we come back to recover.
We won't be going over for a while as can't get insurance - they won't even quote hubby. Last time we went for him to walk the younger daughter down the aisle - with no insurance! OMG! Our doc said GO, enjoy it! Thankfully older daughter is a doc. albeit paediatrician.
For those of you who can't use a rolling machine - put a filter in both ends - this way you get a 'normal' looking ciggie and it's far easier. I actually instead of taking the filter out of one end cut the ciggie in half (OK you only get an inch of tobacco) - I reckon that way I smoke far less.
I also have a few electronic cigarettes - the 'proper' ones that are so cheap to run that you can fill with about 1.5ml of liquid. You can buy these from China now, very cheaply, at around £16 for 2 - with decent batteries. I must get these out again as they do work.
Tobacco - remember what GV was like before they changed it to that thread like stuff - which makes both hubby & me cough. Well Bayside from Asda is like the 'old' GV - you can buy 100gm tub for something like £16. I have NO idea what GV costs now or what foreign GV costs.0 -
Shall I put the lights out? I always seem to be the last one here.
Goodnight & sweet dreams all!0 -
